Lucas Brode has performed professionally for over twelve years throughout New York and Connecticut, in addition to frequent regional touring. He has played original music at some of the area’s most historic and reputable venues including The Chance Theater in Poughkeepsie and The Bitter End in Manhattan and reguarly performs classic jazz standards and original compositions at restaurants, private events, lounges & bars, etc. Although well-versed in solo guitar arrangements and improvisations, he also has many close collaborators working on several different instruments, allowing each booking to be catered to on a case-by-case basis. Lucas’ approach to jazz guitar is both excitingly original and incredibly soothing. This allows for his playing to work equally well as background music or fully immersing entertainment.
Lucas holds a BA in Music from Skidmore College and is currently residing in Westchester County, New York. To schedule or inquire more about a solo or group jazz performance, please email: lucas[dot]brode[at]gmail[dot]com
